Just a quick wallpaper. I love Amano's art style, and this surprisingly soft image of D from Vampire Hunter D really pulled me in. I basically just fixed the missing center, did some cropping (took a while to find a way to fill the image without them being too large), added some texture, and shifted the hues towards the red instead of the original mustard to add some warmth (and selectively recolored the blue to pink, because it was too jarring being a big blob of blue in the center.)
The title "Calm me" comes from the text on the image itself:
"D... You're..."
The voice, emotional, was close to tears.
"I've come. You can calm down. There's no need to run..."

I likes! However I'm not so sure about the text. You made it look nice but it makes such a big contrast with the overly grainy image, being so slick and sharp..

Aww this is so emotionally compelling for me, the texture really fits well into the whole pice and the text suits the whole theme of the wall.... Beautifully scripted and done Tama! :P

Ooh, it's so realistic, like a painting. *sob*
Makes me feel sad looking at it, must be emotional movie. So..um... *speechless* @_@

I love it. It really looks like a painting to me. Ohh~ I adore paintings. And you changed the image so much from the scan, including that line in the middle of the page. How did you manage to make that line disappear? o_o
Lol... anyway, great job! Keep it up!

Excellent editing of the source image, it makes a really beautiful wall, and makes me think of some faded piece of art from a long, long time ago. A very lovely wallpaper that definitely gives off a feeling of antiquity.

Beautiful work as always. The whole thing appears to be a soft waterpainting. Really, your works are always top-notch. Nice work.

In this wall you managed to show the emotional load of Yoshitaka Amano's art and that's what my favourite is for :) .
