keh, small and simple wall for a long and boring day..
It took me finally much more time than anticipated to complete it, and I'm quite happy of the final product, it's pretty much what I was aiming for, very near the original artist style.
The clouds are painted from scratch, the water was completely re-done and painted over, and the characters placed and painted, moon is a combination of stock and painting. And well, that's pretty much all there is in the wall lol.
I named it after the fact that I really found weird how the water was originally drawn into the girl's hands, like some solid thing, as if she really could grab it

Tools of excellence: smudge and airbrush 50%
And again, candie is a nice girl really, so you have a text-free version for your pure pleasure!

please download full view, the thumbnail does no justice to my hard-work painting job ~_~

EDIT: it takes place at a fullmoon night. It's not daytime! You know water reflects light, and full-moon nights are awfully bright. So that's why everything is so light, but it's still night XD lol

whee nice painty effect.. the water looks like a sheet or something XD Very nice.. my only complaint.. is that supposed to be a moon? O__o

Oh and the text .. would probably prompt osi to say bad things.

    Nice wall!
That effect reminds me some paints from Dali and it's surrealism(sorry if is badly writing).
    XD

I likey. You're right though, that solid-yet-liquid water thing is kinda freaky. But in a good way. ^_^'

Welp, I gave a few of my words on IRC, but since I enjoy commenting and I really, really like this wall, =P I figured I'd give a few words over here (though a few words will most likely end up in somewhat of a lengthy reply). There is something I've always liked about your work and that is the originality of it. Each wall is different from the other and that's something I've always admired about your work.

First off, the scan @_@. I can't believe you painted the characters. Something I was wondering about is if they were painted. I have to say that you did a fantastic job with the painting. Very nice and lightly done so it looks just simply amazing =3. Honestly, even better than the original colors (they aren't nearly as bright and much easier on the eyes) and the lighting is just *_*. I have to say that is something that really gets me is the lighting on the characters. You did a simply amazing job cleaning up the scan and I really have to say that the coloring is simply top knotch. An excellant job on the character coloring.

Now, the background. Something I really liked seeing was that you begun to start painting your background. A rather unique concept and the fact that your painting skills are *_* makes your work just simply gorgeous. I have to say that this is simply astonishing. I can't believe that you painted this :_:. I'll have to say that first off, I'm greatly impressed with the water. Personally I would of imagined that it'd be rather difficult to pull off such lushious water that fits with the girls, but you proved that it is more than possible. The tones are quite lovely and very fitting as well and the waves are very nicely done. What I really like the most is where the green-haired girl is about to splash the brown-haired girl. I think you did a fantastic job of drawing her scooping water up into her hands, it honestly looks rather realistic and was quite a nice idea if I do say so myself. I tip my hat to you on that (yes, it might be simple, but little things like that I really like) and I do have to say that the sky was an excellant choice as well. A nice amount of clouds so that the beautiful blue sky can be admired by the viewer, yet still shows that it's partically cloudy, which I have to say are nicely done as well and the moon *_* Hooray for being able to see the moon during the day. I think that was a nice idea to break the norm of the typical-type beach scenery. Honestly, this background is..breath-taking. I can't believe that you painted this, your painting skills are just far too elite. Overall, the atmosphere leaves me just sitting here, staring at my monitor, admiring the beautiful detail and lush enviroment. The text fits so nicely too in this adorable wall. I do have to say that the thing I like the most about this is how much it breaks the norm. I can't say I've ever seen a wall like this before, or even remotely close to it. Simply amazing, Candy. I do have to say that I really like the change, Tama had a good idea to remove the blueness and it looks simply *_* now. Now, I will honestly and openly admit, I can't find a single thing wrong with this wall.

What can I say? This is an unbelievably adorable wall. Very cute, very lovely and easy on the eyes and visually stunning. Everything just works so very nicely together and I do have to say that your hard work paid off. This is a favorite for me and most likely will be for a very long time. I do have to say that you achievved what you wanted, this is VERY near the original artist style. A simply amazing painting job, Candy. You are truly an amazing artist and waller

I added a few changes from the AP comment, I personally planned on favoriting this on MT as welil, so I do hope that you don't mind me making a comment over here as well =3.

Wow grabbing water can sure have its weirdnessity but hey the effort on this wall is superb, love the paint job and simplcity in their emotions on the "Grab it" theme though i wish there were more clouds on the horizon than being almost invisible on the water but noentheless this is a good piece Candy! :P

Hehehe. I think I prefer the textless version. Nonetheless the other parts of the wallpaper are beautiful. Really good work. There should be more wallpapers where people put so much effort into it. :)
