wow this is a beautiful wall. i love the green colors, they all blend well. and wonderful job on the grass, it looks great and so does the whole scenery. the only thing for me is the character's grayish sort of hair, it doesnt go with the rest of the wall, but thats from my perspective. but other then that fabulous job ^^

I say make lemonade out of lemons. I think beautifull is an appropriate title because the wallpaper is really full of beauty.
The girls clothing really seems to work well with all the green grass. They definitely are within the same palette. Speaking of grass, the grass on the bottom left shows evidence of being enlarged. I realize that the point of focus is further back so the grass would naturally be blurry but blurring the enlarged grass did not completely eliminate the jagged edges.
I like the flare effect in the middle but the edge of it goes right thru the bottom part of her hair. This left an obvious blurriness to the ends of her hair. If the ends of her hair needed to be redrawn after the extraction, its very easy to just vector the hair instead of trying to draw it with a paintbrush.
I must say, you really did a great job at making it look like she is actually in the grass. A lot of the time, it looks like an extracted scan is standing in front of a background. This is a good example of how to work the scan into the back ground so that they seem like one image instead of two on top of each other.
Thanks for sharing your work.EDIT:I looked at the original scan and I never would have guessed that it was dominated by blue. You did a great job in changing the hue and coloring while not seriously changing the skin tones. The one thing I did notice was a slight loss of detail around the eyes. Thanks again for sharing.

the enlarged grass on the left side bothers me, though, because the edges look so jagged.
but you did such a wonderful and flawless job in recoloring the original scan...it's absolute beautiful and the new colors of the scan compliment your background so perfectly!
