Hi, long time no see ^^ I went on a vacation and so sorry that i forgot to tell you guys T_T
Anyway, this is a REALLY SIMPLE wallpaper but I see nothing wrong wid having a simple wallpaper like that.
The wallie took about 2 half hours. most of it was retouching and extracting the scan. the extraction is very bad, i am stuck on how to soften the hair a bit. HELP !!!!! A LOT of thinking on wat background should the wallie have. ^^;; Bet you can see that the bg is a simple motion blur and the fg is translucent white. I think the position of the font is suitable too.
I guess thats all bout it. 30% gonna get deleted (but I hope it won't ^^) Comments, and Suggestions (the more the better :) )are welcome especially on the bg.

I like the checked pattern in the foreground. That and the odd coloring makes it a cool wallpaper. SO, I guess that means I like it.

The fades in the background give it a little more then simplicity, and the squares give it style. I think the text is placed well too. Though the style of it could be different. But overall it looks really good. Keep it up ^^

Basically the cncept of mosaic-ing your wall is nice. But uh... I can see some extractions problem there. Not that it's kinda jiggy, but... there's still some white parts left unextracted. I'm not sure how you do it but it's always a good idea to set your scan to about 400% or less to see the actually lines. ^^ But it seems like you've extracted an artwork instead of anime shot. Nevermind. ^^ Problems with extracting artwork style scan always cause headache, it happened to me too.
But i'm not sure if the signature is a little too big at the bottom though. Maybe you might wnana move it a little lower to the edge and decrease the text's size.
But overall, this piece is fine and simple. I'm sure those who likes simple and bright walls would like this.

Oh this is really a cute wall ^^ Risa and Riku were always my favorite pair of twins from anime. I really like the bright colors and the square effects you used in the wall, it gives a nice, lighthearted feel to the wall. And the text to the side matches the color scheme and theme of the wall nicely. Well done indeed!
