ahhh... MT.. home sweet home..
back to Spiral walls again. :D it feels good to be back. creative theme inspiration? one word: GUMSHOE. never got to watch the movie but i was watching a show Boy Meets World and saw them making a parody of it. soo.. here's the results.
the scan came from my constant search of an spiral artbook collection. and when i saw this scan one sentence occupied my mind: THAT'S IT! soo made it look a little more presentable. aka cleaned it like no tomorrow. >.<
the background is made of a hand-made starfield, a blended moon, and a stock photo of a dock, which matches that mysterious theme i was goin' for. added a foggy effect to give that unknown aura, don't you think? :D
i also made a light grunge-y effect and black and white to give that old movie feel.
layers: 25 layers
timing: about 2 days, on and off
music listening to: Augustana's Stars and Boulevards (thanks niichan :D!!),

and i almost forgot, this is dedicated to my friend and sister, kuroimisa, whom i idolize and appreciate and another friend and big bro, ahem, little bro, RahX101, whom i talk to from time to time and knows about my minty breath XD. thanks guys for staying with me, even putting up with me for that matter. :D
and now that i look at the wall again, i guess it could go for that twilight zone feel... :\

Hehehehe... I know I'm not supposed to be here, but I just wanted to look at a few gallery items :)
Well, I'm gonna run through what I would have done with your wall but firstly some overall comments :)
woohoo! black and white.. haven't seen a black and white thing in agggesssssssss. I get the feel of a hard boiled detective story and that's cool >]
i think though that the stars in the sky have been somewhat varied in size and brightness but I think it'd be good if there was more variation :) Also in a wharf, everything has to be rather bright (like there would be a lighthouse nearby or somewhere 'remotely' near) to give off some light, so it's unlikely to see so many stars with all that light pollution :)
I would have stopped the mist left to right just before the scan :) Probably just the lower left corner and along the bottom of the boats would have done for me~ the comets are a bit too much for me~ could be varied in size, but methinks there are too many @_@ Perhaps if you arrangeed them in the shape of fireworks... I dunno @_@But I know all the work into this and it's a great wallie
