his artwork is distinctive for sure
its got a lot of thick strokes and detail.
i like the similar tones and the blending. the creepy overtones are worked in too well ^__^'

a truly beautiful wall to dedicate to your wife. Love the composition. the darkening of the original scan and how you balanced this with the window. Strikes me as they are in a room on a boat and there is just enough light filtering in to "light the way".

wallpaper...May I say as my excuse that I got stuck in the gallery of Amano scans?
This certainly is an awesome wallpaper... I compared it to the original scan... I like how you darkened it... the lines
look so much softer now... and the detail with the birds... it looks so romantic... and the whole "project" is
romantic... it's even dedicated to your wife...
It's always difficult to add text into a wallpaper but the letters here are just as soft as the other lines... so it
really becomes one.
Dream wrote something in my guestbook, that the name of your new website is part of the title... "Sei-Iki"?... Good luck with your continuing work on the website...

The sun seems slightly out of place (although the symbolism is nice) and I'm not sure if I like the orange-y texture, but this is lovely. DC you're a master at creating moody atmospheres! @_@
A great choice to dedicate to your wife - so soft and romantic (and I got really mushy when I saw this one). And the title is just perfect for it.

I absolutely love what you did with the lighting and the colors in this wall...it preserved the mood of the original
scan while injecting more emotion...a very ethereal feel
