Konnichi wa. ^_^ A new wallie! Its pink! XD I don't usually like pink so this is unusual for me. XD
I know there are already a lot of walls with this scan, but I like it very much, so I wanted to wall it too. I actually started this several weeks ago and never finished it, so I did today. ^_^
I used some layering and brushes and just played with a couple things until I got it to look like this. I hope its not too simple. -_- It has about 7 layers. I cleaned the scan a bit too. Oh yeah, thank you to Marissa for the scan by the way. :)
Thank you for looking, and any comments and faves are appreciated. ^_^ Dedicated to...umm...all my friends! :D
*UPDATE* There were a few complaints about the text, so I changed it a bit and I hope it looks better now. :)

I do not understand, I see a rather simple background (but then there isn't much background too see so I can understand that) which I don't think compliments the scan or character very well, it should look calmer to set the mood more maybe, I don't really know. Also it's just a simple special effect flower photoshop brush randomly placed ontop of the image (and I think it does that itself). Maybe you could change the blending mode on it so it looks a part of the character. At the moment you can see it covering the black lines which looks a bit funny to me.
I think it needs a little more :( sorry. But it is a beautiful scan. Try using these brushes http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/17077869/ :)

First off, woah :o !!!! This thing is pink and huge XD !!! It's probably one of the biggest walls I've seen on here. Now, the wall itself, the scan is really, really good, and I adore pink, it's just a cute colour ^uu^. I believe it is remarkable how beautiful and radiant this wall looks withe simple touches and effects you did to the wall,such as the white and pink brush and lighting effects,and I think 7 layers has to be the fewest I've seen for a wall. Splendid work Kate, you should be very pleased :) .
