i wont be around much for the next month or so because of uni but i still love comments *hinthint* and im really sorry

Your skills are quite solid and it shows throughout all of your works... there is one special thing about this mermeaid that caught my eyes right away, how parts of her hair turn to feathers, her tail also makinge this mermaid so mystical.
Technically this is great... I also love her face... great job toujin1 XDAs for putting it on ebay... I think you really should ;)

I agree that the feathers really make it stand out. I dont think i've ever seen feathers on a mermaid. Scales yes, feathers no. A fantastic piece. However, i think she should have more of a defined waist line. you dont define where her hips end and her waist beings. Other then that, i think it looks perfect!
as for selling it on ebay... I think it would be a good idea to look into making prints of your work. If those sell good, then you can auction off the orginal later.

Nice drawing touijin-san! For some reason this mermaid reminded me of another one I had seen from you. Her tail is amazingly detailed, you obviously took a lot of work into it, and I love all the little details, like the feathers, those are a very original touch indeed. How they grow from her tail and hair, really nice! I love how her hair moves around and her elegant expression. However I have to agree with scribbleKitty in the waist and hips part and I also think the piece of clothing she is wearing seems a bit stiff in some parts, but I love the foldings ^^ You did a great work touijin-san! Hope uni still lets you some time to keep submitting your wonderful drawings ;)

You know, you just always seem to do a fantastic job on these, which makes my work look like chicken stratch, but I'm gonna comment it on it anyway XP . Things mermaid is wonderfully detailed, you can see how defined the feathers and the scales are. The best part of the drawing is the hair, it's just miraculous at how flowing and beautiful it looks, not to mention the vast beauty of the your mermaid herself :). It'sa radiant piece of work, and though I feel you should hold on to it, if you get a nice price for it on ebay, I think you should go for it ;).

^_^ superb too. I'm the #1 fan of your pencil style ^^ i wonder how you can do such great shadings like that on her body and on the stuff she's holding ^_^ that's so greatly done. As the others said, the tail is amazingly detailed. But what stuns me the most is the details on the feathers and how they are placed. It looks so natural ^^. It's like she could be real.
the hairstyle and the tatoos are also incredible ^_^ you have such a great creativity.
The sole little thing i have problems with are the arms ... they might be a little short. The belly of the mermaid looks also so real ^^

O.O It's sooo great,,, I love the shades on her belly, it makes it look so real, and I love those egiptian looking eyes too. And the feathers *_* really lovely... It reminds me of sakura card captor, the watery card...

now that i hae seen a few of ur drawings, i can say clearly that i noticed, yep yep i did on my own, that each of them was a mix of two elements... here water(mermaid) and wind(feathers)
