I dedicated this wallie to GintheTwilightswords, such a sweet person who cares so much and gives so much more than he'll ever know.

Well, it's been what... 3 months since my last wallie? Haha, been very busy with school and college entrance essays and such. However, this is very simple, YES But if you do take the time to look at it, I've don'e alot of work. I've vector (YES I ACTUALLY VECTORED) some parts as they didn't really fit well with the light. x.x; That was a pain...haha And I've added trees, since that area look..boring and of course stars. And no moon you may wonder, well I didn't want the moon to overpower the stars, as I wanted the stars to be the main focus so no moon. I WAS going to do a shooting star... but... that just..didn't work. Haha, well comments and advice are loved!

Time - Well over 2 weeks, but all together, maybe a good 10 hours?
Layers - 42
Songs - Green Day - Wake Me Up When September Ends, and Lifehouse - You And Me/Hanging By A Moment (LIVE)

The extraction is perfect, but the blending in of the edges could be improved just a bit more, even though it's a vector. So it seems like the scan takes up half of the background, which would indoubtedly make this wallpaper on the simple side, seeing as how you didn't have to worry about much. I can tell where the moon is coming from due to the lighting effect on the scan, and that's why the moon is not in view. One thing that you probably shouldn't have used is the outer glow on the scan; the scan is not really that magical, though the concept of your wallpaper kind of implements the idea of a wish. I see one of the most common mistakes in wallpapers...the use of the same tree for different layers. When doing trees, there is absolutely no guarantee that any two trees will be the same in shape and definition. The star spacing is good, the horizon line seems good, and the colors match up well.

Beautiful wallie...I can see why you wanted a shooting star...it would make sense then what she is pointing at! Great job!

As masamune said, the extraction is really perfect. A shooting star could put more sense between the title and the wall, but it doesn't need this. It's pretty cool already. The starfield fits well with the scan. the trees and gb fits well too... good job ^^

Hi DarkDestiny. Nice work. I like the blue sky, I like the color and the stars. The tree(s) and moutains are nice too, they fill in the bottom left corner nicely. The scan of the girl is nice too, good job extracting it, the edges are nice and clean. Very good work! Thanks for posting it.

argghh.. I think the bg is too blue.. and those blue stars look weird.. stars should be white.. or yellow.. >.< but overall nice concept and idea.. =3

First off, I want to thank you deeply for this, Destiny, I love it very much, and I kind of feel I don't really deserve it. You do so much for me already, and I don't really have much to offer back myself, but one day when I'm able too...
Anyway, the wall just looks so beautiful. The simplistic bg looks great, there's not alot ago on in it, so it makes it clear enough to get a good view of the stars lining the open, blue night sky. The darken hills and trees in the bg looks great, and the girl looks so cute and precious. The sincere look of joy in her eyes as she looks point towards the sky brings a serene and glorious pressence to it. You did a wonderful job on it Destiny, and I thank you dearly for this gift you did for me :) *big hugglez*.

I like the composition but it will be better if you add a shooting star to match the title. Well, that's my view anyway. :)

Nice and simple starfield ^^ The background is a bit plain though...I know it's cliche..but if you add a moon, I think it would look better.
