pleh, first wall since something like ...6 months!
Why? Well I was gone all summer and when I came back I realised my computer had gone for a better world... So the
process of buying a new laptop took time, and here I am with a magnificent ibook n_n
Anyways, the wall is named after The Doors song called Riders on the Storm,
great music <3
I was searching for a title that had something to do with a storm since the athmosphere is gray-ish, theres a lot of
wind and the girl just doesnt seem like shes quite jolly.
It's not a killeh wall like I hoped it would be, but it's still nice. Let's say I am content of the results.
I worked on it with my laptop and old computer screens, and one of them shows it as purple and flashy as the other shows
it darker and less hued... I preffer the laptop screen version, I hope that's the one you see XD ah the
technology~

Ah, it takes so long to load and I am just so lazy with time, so I'll just comment on the two thirds of the image I can see. Well, there's color, and hair, and a sky, with clouds, and she even has cutex on, which tremendously embellishes her with a coral-red summer hue. I think her clothes are very trendy and you know me, the usual... [/sarcasm]

Besides, it,s not that purple, but it's not that blue either. It's more of an indigo, bleu-de-nuit-assaisonné-de-pervanche-léger.

Very nice wall. Thing that bothers me are her fingernails. Don't seem to match with the rest of herself. Oh well, nice background too.

The contrast from the scan and the background are excellent. I find the clouds very well done, and I'm such a sucker for them, so this is automatic for me ^^ I see you went with blue. Looks good. I see hints of purple in the pillar like structure. What she's standing on look like stepping stones leading foward, awesome perspective for that. Clouds look really soft, and the wall it self has a soft texture to it all out. Awesome wall Candy ^^

yarrr~! candy is back and with a nice wall :D~! and again....you did the smudge work or something...makes everything soft *_*~! clouds looks good and so the other stuff on the bg. just....a minimal extraction dots on the breast-belly part of the girl and at some places where the dress meets the pillar, some look more blanc =/ oh and....like aibuster said.....you live in the past???? Yeeaahh I like the Doors reference Candy, but sheesh... You put a shirt on her! I have the artbook this scan is in and she was quite topless I believe - yet there were no nipples. I think you coulda pulled it off and gained some "booby favs" for it since it's technically legal. Buut other than that I think it could've used some special effects like maybe some lighting or somethin - hey it's much better than anything I can do! Hah! XD

Onto the wall, I think the simple-ness of it is just good for the wall XO though the upper left looks a bit dark hehe Xd , and not too fond of the text either, they are too blended into the wall I think.... Oops, spotted a minor extraction problem on her clothes there, at the left side, near her breast, looks a bit whitish, I think you miss that part hehe :)
Well, too bad I see the less bright version of the wall on my notebook screen >_< meh, I wish I could get the flashy version >_< good job on this one candy-chan ^_^ -
I've always loved your paint-style wallpapers. And your clouds. I envy your cloud-fu. Soft and fluffy and painted to match the rest of the wallpaper. The highlights in the girl's hair and her red tube top seem a bit pixellated, and the wires might be nicer a little sharper and brighter, but you know me -- I'm nitpicky :D

Heck yes, Riders on the Storm is my favorite Doors song =x. Putting that aside, it's great to see you're back in action, Candy. It has been far too long and you have been missed :) (especially on #MT) and it is really wonderful to see that you came back and with a new wall at that. Honestly, it doesn't look like you've lost any of your talent while you were away.
Alrighty, first off the scan. Very interesting and at first glance it reminded me somewhat of Jo from Bakuretsu Tenshi though I do have to say a very interesting style of clothing as well, but wow, quite a beautiful choice in scan and I personally think you did a fantastic job with the extraction and she really has such an empty look, which I personally think fits very nicely with the background (well, at least to me, I'm probably seeing things) and overall I can't add too much else about it, but just simply a rather unique style of fashion =x. Oh yes, I can't forget this. I LOVE her tattoo across her back, just a beautiful design and a rather interesting choice of color for it as well (hooray for something that would probably be extremely painful).As for the background, my gosh @_@. I know it's already been stated by pretty much everyone, but wow X_X. Candy-chan is the master of clouds =3. So very fluffy and soft, smooth and very nicely done. Just such clearity and beauty that it really is breath-taking. I have to say the atmosphere for this bg is literally jaw-dropping. So lush and beautiful, just the right amout of a partical cloudy day with just clear blue skies. I really love the lighting as well and I really do think that is it a very unique concept. Something I am rather curious is the pillar in the background (or whatever that is, very interesting design though) is what it would be. =S I have to say that you did a magnificant job with the reconstruction of it as well because to be honest, I can't see where it has been reconstructed and from the original, so I applaude you on a job well done there. Everything just comes together so very nicely and so very calm and subtle. I really love this wallpaper and the mellow feel it has (honestly, it's the same sort of feeling I get when I listen to Riders on the Storm, which is why I really think that the name of the wall is very fitting for the bg) and honsetly, I wouldn't of ever guessed that you had taken a break from walling (since your computer died, r.i.p. Candy's old comp =x) because this wall is truly stunning. The scan perfectly fits with the background and I have to say I really like the text as well. It's big, but yet not too much to where it takes away from the wall and to where it becomes an eyesore and not too small so that it's hardly visable. I also have to thank you for being so very kind and posting a textless version of this gorgeous wall as well :).
Overall, I really can't say much more that hasn't been said already. This wall, as I said earier, is breath-taking. I simply LOVE the sky and I think everything comes together perfectly. It's great to see you back at MT and it's great to see that even with how busy you are, you still have time to wall and share your work with us. Thank you so very much, Candy. This wall is a favorite for me, nay, my favorite of the day.
