Love the art from the studios of Ugetsu Hakua. They all have this lovely painted feel towards it.
This had intentionally been a piece w/o any sort of real effort into it. I was experimenting with some background stles and color blending. You are welcome to comment and critique, but there wont be any real changes made to this piece. I got what I wanted out of it. ;)
It has a lot of iconspace and its easy on the eyes if you want to use it. I made the usual glyph in photoshop using the polar coordinates tool, then overlaid some effects and added a style. The background was a gradientfill with some brush flourishes over it to give it a more spontaneous feel. Stars, sparkles...etc are the usual. Enjoy. :)

You do have quite the wallpaper here. A couple of things...there is graininess within the right wing on the scan (the wing on top), and a little fixing up of the area would do the trick. I'm not too sure about the font; since this wallpaper seems like more of an abstract wallpaper and nothing so rough, maybe you should use a softer font. The colors match well.

i absolutely love the color of this wall!! it's really pretty ^^ the background patterns are cute :D but the scan doesn't blend too well with the wall though...i still like it, so it's a fave for me ^^

Oooh, orange! One of my fav colors! Hmm, i think Mel-san is right about the wong being a bit grainy. I like those circle things, they look 'cute,' don't know why. +fav next week.

Great color! I love the symbol under here, it lines up perfectly with the scan, but the outline is slightly weak in points. Also the background just shimmers, so pretty!
