Nice grunge job you did on your latest wallpaper. The way character is pictured she almost looks like she is painted into a concrete wall...maybe not so but that's the impression I got. ^_^'

Wow Brom. This looks really good. Been a while since I've seen an Abe wall. It looks like the sun is coming right behind her and about to swallow her up. Awesome. Love the effects, the scan as well. Grunge effects are great. Great work Brom ^^

To answer your question its because there hasnt been any new ones from him as of yet and most of the images that are around are either walled or cared less from the public eye but either than that the wall has this posterized look and simplcity going on and i like it...

It's a great job and I like it but if I may comment, your sig at the bottom is kinda big and long, breaches into the bg at the foot of the character. Coupled with the black colour, it stands out a bit too much I think. Perhaps you should make it smaller.
Other than that, it's good.

It's yellow, grungey, has Yoshitoshi Abe art, and kitty ears... oh yeah, this is my purrrr-fect combination! She seems so lost, crouching down in the corner. Like she's been out playing with her friends, and then got lost during a game... But I love the bright dazzling yellows. They really pick up the feel of her otherwise sad expression :)

It's grungy time XD !! I was telling mysel this looked like a grunge wall when I first saw it, and sure enough, it's just that. The yellow-orange colour of the wall is great, I like how you incorperated the image into the wall with grunge effect overlaying it (at least that's what it looks like to me). I also like you have the text embedded into the bg as well, it makes the wall stand out more. You know, sort of looks like a poster for an artist's gallery, hehe XP . Awesome work Brom
