The clouds don't look awful...It's just that the ones that pass over her wings seem to cut them off at the end...I'm sorry to hear you're not doing so good, hope you'll cheer up soon :D

it's just the contrast between scan and the bg u created clashes too much. There is no balance between colors. But that's not a bad thing of course. The scan stands out nicely however bg looks too weak on the back. (maybe it's just me though)
