Samurai Champloo: Ronin Jin

Subtle but Powerful

A far whack away from the chaos which defined the Mad Dog Mugen artwork - this follow up production featuring SC's mysterious, traditional and well-mannered ronin warrior, Jin, is a far more focused, elegant and powerful construction. A collective elaboration of natural elementation, texture, balance and image transitions speak of the earthly potency the heart and soul of this warrior projects unto his audience. Using a wide variety of traditional cultural Japanese symbolism, SC's Ronin Jin is an eloquence toward the potency of living and dying by the blade.

Featuring official SC artwork illustrations founded at the Madman Entertainment SC Minisite and primary artwork illustration featuring an original NewType scan kindly contributed by Hyuuganeji 88 located here: Jin scan by hyuuganeji88

This artwork's composition features primary and secondary transition SFX, image masking and multi layered brushwork.

Jin-sama! well he kinda looks like a ghost in the wallpaper, it's probably because of the faded effect you gave him. the swords by his side look okay but i was thinking he should be carrying the sword instead or perhaps putting the swords in the background instead of the foreground would be slightly better. just my opinion ^_^ thanks for sharing! =)

this wallie looks simple but with a evil mood! also the colors are great and dark and it gives a gloomy aura for the wall. keep it up!

Oh, I love it! It has a brooding mood about it that really fits with Jin's personality! Excellent work!
