Yet another experimental wall. I fell in love with the scan [who wouldn't XD] when I saw it ove at AP and decided right there and then that it would be the focus of my first simplistic wall. I decided on the background shortly after as I had seen it used to good effect before and thought there was enough scope to use several shades of pink and red so as not to make it same-ish.
A small layer of swirly things were added afterwards as it looked too simple and also a little bit of grunge. At the time, I thought it was risky, but it turned out alright.
The scan was extracted with Shinta's tutorial over at Imanimetions.net and placed neatly on top.
Critique honestly as always ^__^ . Next on the cards is a scenic wall o_O .

Hmmm, I think the idea is quite good, but there is still some extraction problem that you may wanna fix, especially at the hair parts... And I dont think the fractal pattern at the back is necessary, IMO, it would look good just with the lines >_<

Pretty and simple. ^_^ I agree with tareren that it would look much better with only the lines. I don't think it would look too simple, just pop-art-y.

i love ichigo mashimaro! *is a big fan* ah. you hath captured their cuteness spot on. personally, i like the grunge, but there we go, majority wins. maybe a teeny bit of brushwork overlayed behind the girls, and keep the lines in background at least 5px in width? *runs away* well, a fav anyways. keep up the great work! ^_______^ *thumbs up*

Aw! What a cute scan! It goes well with the background which is perfect simple. The extraction could be a little better (only one strand of hair that I can see needs work).
