Artist Comment

I downloaded the original scan and absolutely fell in love with it. I changed the sky and replaced it with a new one, added the shiny sun and added some glow effects in the halo and wings. I extended the town, wall, grass and water for wallpaper size purposes and finally added the sparks and the flare.

I just knew I had to do something with the scan, and since Haibane Renmei is one of my favorite series, guess I liked the idea to do a nice wallie. Just enjoy and visit my site at www.cartoonleap.com for more stuff. Enjoy! Comments are ALWAYS welcome.

    Sweet looking wallpaper you have made on this one. Background is well done with nice sparkles and lens flare effect. The character is enjoying herself frolicking in the water. Yup, visually pleasing wallpaper.

    The image is very pretty friend :) , but something is seen badly :sweat: . The bottom also sees if. At first sight like as I am left I wallpaper, but believe that the subject of the pixels not this good. ^_^'

    I have watched Haibane Renmei from cover to cover, and I would like to say this scan, to say the least, is an insult to the solemn unadulterated story of the Federation.

    well that depends on how you see it. I think it's cute, u know, Rakka just playing in the water. nice wall btw :)
