Hello to all of my friends *embraces* =^_^=
First, I must say that I am not that pleased with this wall. It has given me a hard time with the photoshop techniques. It is hard to do with photoshop what I see my mind's eye. However, that is exactly what this wall is mostly about -- techniques. The hardest ones were the rings of the planet, the dew drops on the weeds, and the flaring shooting star effect. I enjoy challenges with photoshop, but this wall has taken me two weeks to do (mostly because I have been busy >_<)
So please enjoy!! ^_^

Thank you Mel!! I have to admit I focused on the background and not so much on the scan, but I have updated it so the
scan is more vivid in color and clearer. And yes, he also pointed the other technique that made me vex towards this
wall--the sky gradient LOL
I had to do part gradient with circle marquee and other part square marquee without leaving behind the lines of obvious
gradient overlapping so to give the illusion of the sun at the bottom right and slowly heading into night. *kitty hugs

You have absolutely outdone yourself on the wallpaper this time. The background is superb; the transition from lightness to darkness with the stars fading as they are in transit from darkness to lightness works really well. With the stars, there is no one maximum brightness, and that's excellent. Awesome up-front blur as well. The only very minor discrepancy that I have is the scan; it requires just a bit of cleaning, and I recommend matching up the color values with that of the background. You just duplicate the scan layer and set it to blending mode soft light or overlay. You also use the median filter of about 5 to 10 pixels so that the scan doesn't appear as grainy. Once you fix that up, then the wallpaper will definitely be worth faving. ;) :D

Another great wallpaper!! YAY, alright! Hmmm I really like the effects you created in this wallpaper, the commet and planets in the background looks great! I can tell that you spent a great deal of time on them! Ohh and I love the sun effect you used too, its off in the distance, im guessing its setting and the way its on the right i think adds a lot to the scene! The scan is very clean and blended perfectly into the background and overall scene! Excellent work I think! Keep up the beautiful work!!Take care!!

Very beautiful piece of work once again. The comet flying across the sky, the sun throwing its early morning beams across the land scape, getting caught in the morning dew. The cute character youve used. The light all works in well, colors are warm. The dew drops look great, try using the spherize tool or a displace map for grass behind the largest dew drop to give it a warped look, like refracted light.

This is really beautiful Emma :) I have seen this scan before, but I love this bg the colours are very soft and they blend beautifully with the scan, the stars are very pretty.
