I recently watched the whole of D.N. Angel, and while I wasn't as thrilled by the story as I should have been, I
absolutely loved Daisuke, the main chracter - he's such a sweety, and a gentleman, too (as opposed to Dark, who started
annoying me.)!
This is a stab at making a complex pretty-shiny-grunge wall, which I've never done satisfactorily before. Helpful hints
would be appreciated!

i really luv your blending here and the different brushes you used! i also luv your composition with the choice of those two scans, and the colors are very complimentary and soothing. i can see hints of the grunginess and i really like how you incorporated that with the shiny effects of your wall, and i thought the pretty corner borders were a nice touch! awesome work, sylva! :D

i've "heard" that this series isn't as good, that's y i didn't watch it,,,,was a bit too childish (if u know
what i mean 'drawing wise') .. Nevertheless, u did an awesome job there! the brushes are not ugly ^_^ like k1ru said, they match the anime ;)....

Very colorful ^^ And pretty XD You did an interesting technique with a sort of collage with the two disuke's there ^^ What kinda of mood were you in when you made this? O_o; lmao j/k j/k (cause you asked me that about my sasuke wall.. >_>; and on a side note I was freakishly hyper when I made that waller.. O_O; ) Anyways I like it ^^ some of the sparkly effects look a little weird but none the less good job ^^

Really nice! All your wallies are good. ^^ Of all the characters of DNAngel, I like Krad the most. Have a sort of 'thing' for the bad guys in almost every anime/manga. Can't say the same about those american comics and those disney movies, tho.

So very colorful and so pinkiness. I have to agree. Daisuke is a cutie. The two scans work well together and I really like the idea of the slight border. You really used a lot of effects and brushes, which is really different from other recent wallies. Really prettily done. Great work~
Very colorful!! And so much detail!! And it is all blended beautifully. I really like the border (the designs at the four corners). They match with the design of the character, believe it or not. It is such a perfect combination. Also the floating feathers also match. Your wall is really amazing with the details. Great job, sylvacoer =)
I'm not sure if the whole shiny-grunge effect actually fits. I think it's the first time I've seen Shiny Grunge. Well, that's that. In my opinion, the scan of rear Daisuke is already a good one for the whole wallpaper. You can actually remove the Daisuke behind there coz for some reason, I don't rally think it fits the whole... 'reminiscing' thing. *Daisuke looks like he's reminiscing, hehhe.
But anyways, my idea is that to use a grunge brush but with vibrant colours. Not really vibrant, but vibrant enough to show the vibrant gurnge effects. If possivle, keep the colours dark so the wall really brings out Daisuke alive and appealing. ^^ Well, just me ranting about.
wow O_O absolutely gorgeous ! hey it's dai-chan :D beautiful background, like the way how you used colours. so many different great effects, it makes bg little crowded but i think they look good together ^_^ texture is pretty, but it gets lost in the bg, if you made it little darker it could be seen better. overall wonderful wallie and nice composition sylvacoer :) thanks for sharing !

Although I totally disagree with Dark being annoying (~.^ lol)
I agree that he is sweet and I love the look in his face, that he's dreaming (I know that feeling ^^)
