OK! Finally...boy this was a tough one.

Inspiration: Kuroimisa dragged me out of 'THIS SUCKS'. So I got some ideas together and produced this. A nice, night-time scene, a romantic dinner for two. Its obvious the looks the girl is giving the guy here, she`s totally head over heals for him. He`s kinda playing it cool, which I like. I just wanted a lovely little scene, showy yet simple. And its a scenic type wall, which Im *bad* at.

Time: 2 frelling weeks. 2....FRELLING...WEEKS.
Layers: 26 all told.

There should be more, I admit, but I just..went with the feeling here. Which was hard, it took me awhile to *get* it. But then, ive never actually BEEN infatuated with someone, so hey.

well then. i like the simplicity of it all. very mellow night indeed. i think the best touch is the hearts intwined. very cute. i only wish. that the walls were glass, and that you could see the fireworks in their entirety. keep it real real.

what's with the white line down the bottom :O
And yeah... glass windows woulda been nice and it's not that symmetrical (the rightside is missing the outline on the left >.<)

    i would ditch the lamp...

But overall it's really really a lot better from the first time ~~~

*gives you a lollipop for the hard work :) *

    Also, ditch the floor >_<

The extraction seems a little off and the BG too smooth and clean in comparison to the scan... Also make the lamp actually seem like it's casting light... it would effect the appearance of the fireworks... actually... I thing you should darken the area of fireworks above the visibility of the lamp and then leave the rest as is.

I'm happy someone decided to use this couple... They were my second choice (though not this particular scan)

I'm not sure what to say about this... but I think the scan is a little out... no not that. It looks like it was taken from a newspaper scrap. That's what I think of course, just ignore it anyways, the old lady's speaking here. I really agree what Terra and Misa have mentioned about the floor... the fireworks thingy.. But I've yet to see how your first was, so all I can say is... I like the concept? I like how the glass window works like that, coz a plain orange wall will defnitely make them looks funny together. ^^

what a cute couple piece. the background is busy and done well as well as what the characters are doing, good job on the merging of the piece into the background, such a cute romantic dinner.
