My W.A.R. submission for round one.
I'm surprised to see that not many ppl...or nobody? is using this scan....1st choice is not this one...it's
the one with the motorcycle that many've picked....but after i saw this scan...i'm like..."this is it~

okie..infatuation...it was kind hard to wall....so after i extracted the scan....i didn't immediately start
walling....it took me quite awhile to come up with a concept...
and what inspired me was Gwen Stefani's "Cool" video....in the video, she was on the bed singing...and
the mood of her video kinda lead me to what i've created here.
The surroundings of the room is actually inspired by my own room...lol
the pattern of her bed is my blanket...the teddy is mine...uhm...the scroll on the wall and the pattern of the pillow
are images i obtained from the net.......
So onward to the story behind this wall:
The teddy bear and the note are for the one she's loved as a gift. Now, lying in the bed, she's dreaming about
the lovely scene of giving them to him.
And how does the scene looks like?...uhm...i'll say....use ur imagination *wink* ^_^
I think this wall expresses what i think of what infatuation is.
P.S. oh, and one more thing, the hair was a pain in the a$$.

friends and i drew when we were young which definitely displays an aspect of infatuation for me...this is a definite fav

The style is excelelnt and the scan fits perfectly. I like the overall colors of the wall and the feeling they give off. Great work on the background, the teddy and all the little original touches. The hair detail is great and i'm running out of things to say about this wall. Great work!

This is a nice wall. When I look at it I imagine her eyes opening and to me that is very scary. It feels like this wall is almost moving or going to, but yeah... maybe it's just my twisted mind. +fav

I'm always a big fan of high-res wallpapers. It is refreshing to see that people make them larger than 1024x768
from time to time.
Wow this is some amazing work. I love that realistic appearance to the bed and wall, they've got a great feel to them with all the details you added to them. The wall is what I'm really digging the most, from the texture of the wood to all the scratched in words and characters is so unique. Really the only flaws I see are the perspective, especially with the teddy bear, and the scan being a little too blurry and a bit grainy. All in all though this is wonderful work.

I love that scan from Range Murata. Its just so pretty and mesmerizing. Me loves it so much. And you did an excellent job might I say on walling it. The concept is really good, and the teddy bear and note look good and are a wonderful addition. The blanket looks really good too. I really like the look of the wall too, how it looks so shadowy or like an old photo somewhat. Really good and great effort XD
