so powerful those words...the wall: wow. i was really curious what you were going to do with Rain's "A Flower's Name". her water-colored artwork generally seems to be very light. but the scan you have chosen seems heavier and carries great meaning. i now why you love this work- so.
i love your interpretation. the grunge is very understated (which is good). but man, the birds totally seal it for me. damn... what a metaphor...

Very nice. You put a lot of details in this wall. I really love the color that you made the scan with. The eyes are a little creepy though because they look so dark and lifeless :P Great job, as always :)

From the preview I wasn't expecting much, & almost left it instantly. Boy am I glad I didn't. The way the detail is intricate at the top but diminishes towards the bottom is interesting, & really works well with that scan. Your text is good too - a rare occurence - it fits the wall, not rare, but it also looks good in it's own right. That's the rare bit.
It was a great scan to be reinvigorated by... you've done it justice though.
