another wall by me. i was really supposed to be studying and doing my hw, but that gets really boring really fast. so, i decided to make a wall. :)

The extraction's really good and I really like the idea! It looks great! I'm not that much into the bright coloured stuff but this is a really well done wall :) I dunno, but something can be done to the cigarette I spoke... make the smoke more defined and have some sort of ashy stuff falling off the end XD Kudos *beams* :D

Hey there, I saw your post on UA, and thought I'd comment, since I'm not W.A.R.ing ^^
Scan :
i like the choice of scan, the realism's interesting, and you've done a great job on the extraction ^^ The only problem I have is the cigarette [Heh, I agree with Misa]... I think you could have defined it better, the way it ends is a bit vague, as if it's fading into the smoke, rather than the smoke coming *from* it... But hey, extracting the cigarette looks hard, so I'm giving you credit for what you've done with it =)
Choice of colour :
i like the use of bright yellows and oranges in contrast to the dark purple... It definitely looks interesting, but maybe it's a bit too bright? I don't know... If you wanted to make a statement with your wall, you definitely did! XD But, you should keep in mind that this is going to be on someone's desktop, afterall, what else are people going to do with a wall? And if you want people to actually use it, it's probably better to use either mellower colours, or bright colours without the huge contrast with colours on the other side of the colour circle ^^; Because, in a way, it's a bit uncomfortable to look at, BUT I think that the colours are great in terms of impression and evocation of mood ^^
Background in general :
i like your variation in shapes and colours, it gives the wall a major point of interest =) The style is generic, but you've used it in a way that isn't generic, so I think that it's a really interesting background on that point.
Overall :
i think this is a great wall, but of course, I probably wouldn't use it for my desktop. Just keep the audience in mind when you're creating a wall... Even if it looks good in the thumbnail, or in your Photoshop window, it might not be appropriate for a wallpaper... But, I definitely like how you've used all the elements together to create something original like this ^^ Good work!

He is hot!! And I love the colors and grunge-feel. Wonderful job!! It is like he is walking down a city street with smoke around him either from fog or his cig. Nice atmosphere!! I honestly feel like I am looking at some sort of abstract painting at a museum...and yes that is a compliment =D Well done!!

pretty kwl. i love range murata art. the lighting is stunning, but like some of the other comments above. the background is a teeny weeny too bright, and the cigarette just needs definition at the end. lovely work anyways!
