just like what i've commented on ur previous submission. the concept is great. I love the design. It's not as
crowded as the previous one..the focus now goes more to the girl.
i'm not quite fond of that noise u've added to the wall. other than that...great job!~

WAR Round one versus CALISQO
Infatuation
The theme infatuation was rather difficult, however, the idea for my wallpaper came rather easily. Over a bowl of cocoa puffs, I thought what a rad thing it would be to put someone inside the bowl of puffs, as though it was a thrown.
Instead of the more common 'infatuation' between two people, or more, i thought it was appropriate to display an infatuation,(foolish love) with that of an inanimare object and chose cocoa puffs. Centering my idea around the slogan, After one bite, you'll go cuckoo for cocoa puffs. In other words, love at first taste, without any further thought upon the subject of desire. On top of that object, I placed another object of desire, a person. In doing so i personify the cocoa puffs, as though the viewer is looking through the eyes of a person infatuated with cocoa puffs, who sees a beautiful girl atop the cocoa puffs or as one of the puffs, or vice versa with the girl being viewed as a cocoa puff. In other words, no other love for chocolate ever felt so right.
In essence this image is my own infatuation with cereal. the story goes
OMG!!! I love cocoa puffs. mmm...they are so good. and how they make your milk into chocolate milk. how cool is that?
no other cereal does that? seriously, the only thing that could make cocoa puffs better would be more cocoa puffs.
Something needs to be done to get the word out. I need to advertise these delectable puffs of cocoa.
And like the artists before me, i went the easy route, choosing a rather pleasant model to model for the cocoa puffs.
Ok, give me serious, give me serious, ooh, that's good.
The whole picture is was done in illustrator, except the minor textured done in photoshop,(which i borrowed from DC) I wanted a look of an old art nouveau poster(with a modern take) that one might see on the street. Using a few selections of colors, trying to keep a theme of chocolate with dull colors. Indeed.

Nice. I like the muted colors used. Doesn't hurt my eyes.
Although... it kinda looks like she's sitting in a bowl of meatballs. :S -

Nice wall. I really love the colors. The background is great, too. I think the texture on the girl is okay. I mean she blends in with the texture of the wall. As for the bowl of Cocoa Puffs, if you didn't say it was Cocoa Puffs, I wouldn't have known :P It kind of does look like meatballs :P The bowl on the right looks like Cocoa Puffs, though :) Regardless, it looks great and you did a great job on it. A fav for you!

Much better than the first version, I think, and uber creative concept. Can't say I'm a fan of the noise/texturing, especially in the brown bands... :/ still, thumbs up for an original conception and tremendous improvement... the first version of this wall was too busy for me O_O

Styleish, cool idea. I had a cocoa-puffs-period once, now, howvever, i have moved onto more heavy drugs, start! for example... gets me going in the morning anyway! :D

Everything blends together very well... I am using this as my wallpaper right now and I like it because it isn't overpowering at all, and actually has a relaxing effect :)
