Vector outlines + Grass brush (vectorized) + Cloud filter + Radial Blur + color layers + misc effects = 1.5 hour
wallpaper.
Based on the postcard from the Esca movie premiere at AX, from where I traced the images and got the idea for the
background, minus a broken battlefield and Hitomi's face.
Title from one of the chapters in Kino no Tabi. Hey, it's what I'm reading right now, what do you expect?

nice vector wall, though I do miss the shadowing and lighting of Vaan in the original--it added depth to the image. that being said, i like the composition of this and especially like the Esca in the background. great job! :)

I like the grass silhouette as well as van, i think that escaflowne is a little hard to see, but once you see van's name it gives it away of course. Looks nice!

A bit simple.. the vector is pretty awesome though :) .. I really like the style on this.. I would've preferred some more facial, shadows and such (which goes back to the simplisitic aspect of the wall).. but overall, the portrayal is excellent ^_^ Keep up the great work. Really unique composition here.
