What do you mean about two separate scans? Separate as in divided by a visible centreline or were they two totally separate images i.e overlapped or something to that effect?
If it's the former, you certainly did an excellent work of cleaning the scan. If it's the latter, I'm certainly most impressed. The scan looked as if they were done from a single artwork only.

Oh man, this scan never fails to be sexy. I am at a loss for words of praise.
I've never seen the left half before, the one with the You're Under Arrest! girls, and certainly not with this huge resolution. I don't know what kind of miracle you pulled off piecing the two scans together, but I have to say you did an unbelievably amazing job. That must have taken great skills and limitless patience. Thanks for sharing. XD
