So here is my second submission to MT. ^^ These three are Meroko, Mitsuki, and Takuto from Full Moon wo Sagashite. Though I wanted to work on it just a bit more before submitting, I'm still quite happy with how it turned out. So I think I'll leave it as is. Oh I forgot to write in a date - lets say spring/summer 2005.
I drew this with my little sister in mind - she was the one who introduced me to Full Moon wo Sagashite and convinced me that the series was not as retarded as it may sound at a glance. ^^ The original drawing is going to go to her.
You may notice that Meroko and Takuto's appearance is a bit different. I don't want to actively spoil anything, so I'll just say that I was slightly hesitant about submitting this one because for those who didn't watch the series, it might act as spoilers.
Since everyone is obsessed with free-hand drawings, I'll explain how I drew this. Yes, this is referenced from many different points in the anime. For those of you who draw existing anime characters, you know that unless you have the artist's style memorized, its almost impossible to get the right look. I wanted to mostly stay true to the characters' appearance in the anime, so I looked up things like Meroko's outfit (there was no way I would remember what it looked like), Mitsuki's height in relation to the other two, Takuto's eyes, etc.
As for the medium, I used a pencil and a black ballpoint ink pen - yes I know very primitive.

Nice work. I really like the detail in this drawing. I believe a lot of us knew how the anime endi0ng turned out, so this gave me some closure.

*claps* this is amazing! the shading is just incredible and its so detailed! it would take me years just to finish a piece of art like this! you have a great talent here. i can't draw at all unless you want some stick figures. keep it up!

The shading on the clothing are nice - I actually like some of the minor details on this. X3 Like the rabbit. lmao.
Some of the work on the hair is lovely too. I don`t really get your style though shigh. .___.;; Yeah, it`s nice. <33 it.

I loved the last episode! ^^ I love Full Moon wo Sagashite, I've been overly obsessed with it ever since I saw the last episode. I really like how Meroko looks. Although, I'll miss her bunny ears. ^-^
