Hello all and my dear friends! *hugs*
I was able to get this wallpaper just in before I go back to school/work. I spent about 3 days on it and about 60 layers *wipes forehead of sweat* ;) The worst part of it was the grass >_< Took me 6 hours to do! And now half of it you don't even see with the shadows and mist *laughs* I couldn't get the colors that I wanted and I had used tons of layers and variations in the grass so I wouldn't be surprised if you see many colors in there =D
The only stock is the scan which is funny because I honestly thought it was a rarely seen scan and after I finished the
wall, my friend told me that this scan is used a lot T_T So I figured you guys now have another view of looking at the
scan =)
The rest was created in my photoshop with some brushes and techniques. I even made my own brushes for this one

I have read in other descriptions of what music people listen to as they do their walls. Well, I didn't listen to
that much music. Instead, I watched Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea =^_^=
And I did have coffee during this one too, sylvacoer =D

yeah, you are right, the grass looks funny. i can see different colors in it.
for some reason the water looks a bit weird. don't know why.
the scan looks great. i like the background with the mountains. i also like the overall misty effect.

wowie...this is another beautiful wallie from you! i luv the composition and the background! the bamboo looks especially wonderful, as well. the grass looks great and we can still see the wonderful detail even with the mist, which is a nice effect. i see you also used the blurred effect to make certain elements of your wallie stand out, but the birds look too clear against your blurred background, which i thought was a bit odd. i'm sorry if that was intentional, tho'... ^_^' and i haven't seen this scan used either, so this is all new for me, as well... XD the girl is very cute, and i can see why you wanted to wall her, especially with her beautiful kimono. :D

woooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! I LOVE thiss!!! You are truly an amazing artist! This is beautiful!! I love the grass with the stream running through it!! The whole thing look so natural! I especially love the little 'lights/sparkles' that are sqirling around the girl, I think that was an incredibally good effect! The expression on the girls face and everything, just so perfect!! Je trouve votre wallpaper tres tres jolie mais aussi tres reposant.
Voilà le sentiment qui se degage de ce wallpaper (pour ma part).
Peut etre l'effet recherche ?
L'effet de brume est tres bien fait, les arbres sont vraiment tres bien reussi !
Ce que je prefere dans ce wall: le personnage (qui est tres jolie d'ailleurs) ainsi que l'effet de poussiere lumineuse qui s'enroule autour du personnage.
Voila, j'espere ne rien n'avoir oubliee.

I find your wallpaper very very pretty but also very resting.
Here is the feeling which degage of this wallpaper (for my part).
Can be the required effect?
The effect of fog is very well made, the trees are really very well reussi!
What I prefere in this wall:the character (who is very pretty besides) as well as the effect of luminous dust which is rolled up around the character.
Veiled, I espere nothing not to have forgotten.

I think this is an awesome one, there is something about her pose that has me seeing her as almost leading me to a secret place or a hidden place to view fireworks, I just get that feel from this image.
i love the sky, it truly looks like the sun is just setting and just over the mountains, nice touch with that, and I also love the mist look in front of the mountains, it helps add the feeling of approaching night, which helps me feel even more like she is leading the way to a place to watch fireworks.

although the right side is kinda empty and the grass on the bg looks kinda weird too.. ^_^'

good job. you have done a great work with the background. a seasony theme, feels like raining here. maybe its only me, but the hair is a little bit jaggy. perhaps too much attention on the grass you forgot about that..anyway its great.

The grass is actually really good to me, but you could've used the burn tool as the grass goes more into the distance so that you don't really see any more color in the grass after one point. The water is actually pretty good because there's enough detail in the ripples for it to be considered not flat. One of my only discrepancies in this wallpaper, which isn't a major discrepancy, is a slight extraction problem within the hair on the left and right; the edges look a bit rough, and you could also use the blur tool just a bit so the hair could blend in with the background. Excellent blurring on the objects in the foreground; that, in the sense, realistically enhances the focus of the wallpaper. The other effects around the character are good too.
