I found this scan and I thought that this character was really cute^^
At first, I tried a simple bg but her position really make her floating into the air... It was really weird XD
So, I tried again and again until I was satisfied... Well, she's still floating^^

I think you got it just right with her 'floating' on the cloud. I can see that it can pose such a problem in any other setting. This definitely seems to be the best setting for her and her position. It makes her look so much cuter too!
The moon is so nice and the clouds give a feeling of floatiness as well =)
It is a wall that just 'lifts you up' ^_^

This is a cute wall, I like the way she is sitting on the clouds and not just floating in the air. The sky looks really good, and I like the color of it. The stars look a little weird though for some reason. I cant tell what it is though.
