Simple Pleasures found in a complex Life. Lots of layers on this one, spent a fair amount of time on it, i acheived what I set out to do which is good and got the effect I was looking for. Unfortunatly the compression kinda made some area's of the wallpaper a little sketchy, not too many but i noticied a little tiny difference between the uncompress and the jpeg, but it wasn't bad, if i could i'd upload a 3MB png, but i don't think you all wanna download that, haha, so you'll hafta bare with me on the jpeg compression. *rubbing eyes* I am trying to see how many different themes are in the background and how it relates simple pleasures ^_^
i see the city. I also see the Italian patio. I then see some kind of garden. You did a wonderful job of mixing and playing with the photos to create such a diverse yet mysterious background!!! *really impressed* You make the person who is looking at it wonder what is the simple pleasures in life.
What a beauitful theme and unique technique of doing so!By the way, your scan is so cute too. I love the sincerety that is displayed in her eyes.

Love the sepia, and the composition. Yes, the sketchy areas are visible (you could blur them and that'd do the trick, if it really bothers you), but I don't think that's much of a problem.
In all, quite a good piece of work.

the design of the bg is really nice, rarely ever see it around here
