A friend of mine on another forum wanted me to make a wall for her. She calls herself "Bubblegum Angel" and wanted me to create whatever comes to mind about her name for her.
It was fun trying to find the right scan since she wanted a specfic type >_< And it had to be pinkish! Well, with a few changes with color balance, I got the pink color =) But then I had to add wings. I hope she likes it ^^;;
Besides the scan, the rest of the wall was created in photoshop. Only the clouds and mist was rendered by brushes. The rest was through technique which took hours. For example, the wings alone had 60 layers!
Not really happy with this one, but had fun playing with photoshop stuff. So enjoy!!
And of course any comments or suggestions would be appreciated ^_^

You matched the scan & colour nicely. And those wings... 60 layers? You are keen! It paid off though, they look really nice. I'm not sure whether you did the bubbles yourself... what you said makes it seem so, but they look like you've used a filter & that's what you mean by technique - if they're hand-done, you are genuinely incredible. If not, it's still nice placement. Okey dokey, bye now.

Yep Fred--the bubbles were made by me in photoshop. There is a way to make the bubbles. Each bubble is 5 layers. Using marquee tool and fill in opacity changes along with inner glow and shadow--it is similar to making a planet. And of course spherizing them. Attack of the pink bubble gum! lol. Very pink! I like the bubble gums. They kind of remind me of something I did in grade 10 com tech class. The wings doesn't seem to be coming from her, it just seems like it's hanging in mid air or something. But I love all the pink goodness! Keep it up!
