ZOMFG o.o... I can't.. really even begin to express.. Oh wow. First off this is just unbelievably thoughtful of you, DB. You really, really didn't have to do this. but my gosh :_: You wanna talk about a true friend, I can't even began to express my thanks. This is..wow, this is honestly the BEST birthday present I have ever recieved :_:. I have to say that this is a really welcome change in style. Considering that I saw you as the master of grunge, I'm really glad that your branching out and trying different styles now and especially considering this is your first sceneric wall..wow. You really, really don't give that impression. This wall is just visually stunning.
First off, the scan. My gosh, I have to say that Lima did a wall with this scan and it's gotta be one of the most adorable cat girls I have ever seen. The purple hair and white dress truly gives the sign that she's a ninja (and actually, ironically enough, fits with something else as well =D) and shows that she isn't afraid to have fun and enjoy herself at the beach. A gorgeous extraction job, she just fits in with the background just perfectly. I have to say that the positioning is rather nice as well, especially since I keep my icons on the left side, so I'm happy about that XD. I think it's just perfect though for this background and honestly, you really just perfectly captured the mood as well, very fitting for such beautiful scenery and the whole mood of the wallpaper overall. I applaude you on that =D. Hooray for the ninja neko~
Wow, well I can tell you first when I saw this wall. I thought you made the background from scratch (being that I had never seen the original scan) so I had a comment typed up about that, until I saw it. As for the idea, it was a beautiful idea to go with the scenery that was already in the bg. Honestly, if something is perfect the way it is, I don't see any harm in leaving it as is. I think it was a wonderful idea to duplicate the left side as well. It actually fits in very nicely, though it gives a rather funny shape to the cloud though (I can't say I've ever seen clouds like that before) but it actually works out very nice. The planet was a very nice addition and looks quite beautiful. The bg texture is very lovely and traces of 'grungish' style elements can be found in the wall, but honestly, that's what I like about it. It's almost like a sceneric/grungish wallpaper, which is what really caught my eye and really earned the favorite for this background. The lighting is very nicely done as well and it really does give the effect that day break is just beginning to dawn. Simply gorgeous if you ask me =3 I feel bad though for thinking that you created the whole thing from scratch, but honestly, I love the additions you made to the bg and overall you really did just a fantastic job. The star field is actually quite fitting and everything just comes together perfectly.
Overall, what can I say. I freggin' LOVE this wall. This is a beautiful gift, if you ask me. I cannot thank you enough for this, Daybreak, you truly are a wonderful person :). Thank you so very much. Even the text fits very nicely, subtly blending into the background, yet you can still see it and the overall product is just gorgeous. Considering this is your first sceneric wall, this is outstanding. Truly proving that you are an incredible waller. Thank you so very much again and I'm so very sorry for taking soooooooo long to give this wall a comment, I do hope that you can forgive me :_:.
