Next bit of SDK school-themed fanart: Sanada Yukimura inviting you to take a seat and "study" with him. (*~.^*) Dedicated to my imouto (and muse), who loves Yukimura's cute hairstyle and his love of messing with people's heads.

Though not an official "screaming-Yukimura-fangirl" like some of my associates on MT.net *cough*SuspendedReality-san!*cough, cough*, I do like him for his sense of humor and the fact that he's so much smarter than everyone else. His demeanor reminds me of Oddball from Kelly's Heroes at times, but it's all an act to keep people off their guard (or constantly nervous around him - I think either is acceptable for Yuki-kun!).

You'd think the hardest thing to draw for Yukimura would be his hair (after all the carping I've done about Kyo/Kyoshiro's!), but it's actually his smile that was the hard part! I call it his "koneko-smile" 'cuz he tries to look all cute innocent like a kitten, but ends up looking downright mischievous. My dear imouto and muse kept on me for a good half-hour to correct how I originally drew him.

The background was all drawn into the computer by hand and then CG-ed with PS. I think I need a course in interior decoration design, 'cuz it's Zen to the point of spartan. (>.<)

Well, you know what I will say about this and your drawings and all ^_^
i am impressed. I really do like the sky color and how the trees and couch looks. And again your shadowing is perfect. I agree with fireflywishes about the wrinkles. Again, perfect shadowing.
    Nice job!!

The spartan look does good for a guy room. >_< The couch isn't align with the back wall. He should really move it. *nod nod* Other than that, the bookcase looks well done and has amazing details. His pose is really nice and really show how relaxs he is. The shading in his clothes are nice. Very nice drawing!

What's the meaning by Zen to the point of spartan? It seems like a word which is very hard to comprehand. :hmpf: Okie okie, anyways... now this should be someone I should know in Samurai Deeper Kyo. Well, at least I saw him before, now this shouldn't be a problem for me to recognise. ^^

Yeap, I too, think that his smile is hard to do. (Coz I did a drawing recently, and I tried to make a slight smile, but it turned out to be a funny looking smile! ~_~ ) Now to comments, I think everything looks nice, but the shelf behind... I'm not sure if I got some eyesight problem, but the messy parts of the books doesn't look quite... natural, if you know what I mean. Not the encyclopedias, the one which is not arranged well. But everything looks great, and I didn't see any sakura! ^^

But overall, I must say this is a wonderful work! Great job once again~

i luv your attention to detail...with the bookcase, outside window, the book that yukimura is holding in his hand, and the texture of the couch! the background scene is amazing! and the shadings and creases on yukimura's clothes look realistic, and i luv the way he's gazing at me... XD

good job, i haven't seen the show, so to me he looks like a vampire victume. Stop screaming at the screen people. i said i haven't seen the show, i'm sure he's cool.

great work your character is excellant.
very nice. i agree that you can sure put up a lot of scenic views.

but somehow it is like you are putting a lot of extra stuff into the background. it seems that they look a bit too computer graphics like rather than cel drawing... hope you know what i mean.
*still you got great skillz * can't argue with that :P
