i actually made this wall several month ago but left it to be scrapped. the original intention was to do something with the Ghost In The Shell backdrop art that I had found but i really couldt find anything to do with it. The picture was alreay really beautiful and anything i would add to it would destroy it. i went through a couple of ideas until i found a fanart of rei that i thought would work. so i put her in and shaded it so that she fit into the picture and i was happy witht he results so far. at this point, it still looked really plain so i added the text sort of as a cheap way of taking up room. im not sure if it got the desired effect but it still looked empty. at this point i stopped working on it until now. browsing 4chan the other day i found a pic of the girl holding the flower and thought, "hey that would work perfectly for that old wall i was working on" so i put it in, and made tweaks here and there to fit it in, and got the finished product. not sure if i reall like the final product since its been so long but decided to submit it anyways.

Wow this is the first "Echo" wall ive seen so far in a long time since th eplacement of letters makes this wall great... simple, overpowering with emotions, love the bloody bg and the characters seem seperated from each other much like man and machine but oevrall this is superb! ^_^
