Two wallpapers in one go? Why? .... my internet went down for aaaaaages! X(
I decided to try and get more practise at abstract wallpapers, so this is just me trying things out. I'm SO sick and bored of making landscape wallpapers but I like when when they work out good and it feels a good achievment if I do. But I need a fresh mind and a change to learn more skills and get inspiration. So this is an attempt. I must filddle more in photoshop!
Pardon the mess... this is so not like me at all and I have little experience in wallpapers like this.

Waaaaaah it's really pretty =)
The background is nice, the text with the heart too and the effects on the girl look really good, adding more charm to the wall =)i just think that you should maybe soften a bit the girl's contour...

you forgot the "m" at your link =/..... hmz..not bad, like the grunge, just some lines looks jaggy, next time try using a higher dpi psd file.

The grungey colours are very dark, but the girl in the scan isn't lost or drowning in grungey shadows. In fact, she remains very sweet and graceful looking, and the touches of green even remind me of spring, so despite the 'broken heart' there's still hope that love can blossom again ^.^

i have made one wallpaper with a background like this so far, but I it was difficult to do for me because I am not used to the style, so for now I'll just continue on with landscapes :) I like how you did the heart in this one, such a good idea! The scan's also pretty and it's looking niiicce on my desktop ;)
