its very simple...i wanted to try a new style, one without shading, and see if it was any good. for those who asked me
about the art comp...well, no one got back to me so i doubt i made the finalists but i wasnt expecting it anyway...i
wish i can show u all the drawing but its really big and no scanner can scan it!

Bah! why colouring what's actually beautyful? the lines are so delicate... beautyful folds in the clothes and those torn looking wings are just great... :)

sorry to hear you didn't get anythign regarding the competition, but at least you entered ad tried. Now, this is a very lovely peice work, it does look different from your normal style ^uu^. The girl is gorgeous, I like how you have her hair and dress flowing fluently, it has a elegant pressence about her. I also like the paper adn pens you used for it, it looks like and ink drawing out of an artbook XD. Magnificnet work Toujin, splendid as always ^uu^.

wasn't sure of the feeling i had while looking at it ^_^
But now i just love it a lot ^_^ I told you what i like the most at the first sight was the dress. And it still is.
I'm so admirative at how you make the folds and the design of the feathers. It's so majestuous ^_^
i'm a little less fan of the character look. I don't know, i don't see the same precision you usually put
in your lines regarding the wings and the character face and hair. But off course this is a superb drawing. i'm not
well placed to do criticism but this was my subjective comment ^^' i prefer your other amazing shading style that
we don't see here.
But as i said you at the top of the message i really love your picture. It's just i'm not as hooked by it as i
was hooked by your others.

Well, the no shading works since your lineart is fluid enough to stand on its own. It actually comes a bit closer to a professional manga style, and the lack of background isn't a problem this way. The problem is that the mistakes appear more this way, the face lacks symetry and the body has proportion issues. The neck is slightly to long, it does look elegant but I have the feeling you overdid it this time. The folds on her shirt look out of places, the ones on the dress flow perfectly though. I like the details of the dress design, the hands and the hair, although they aren't really new. The wings look great, you really know how to draw them even without feathers. Actually I would love to see a water colour of this, I'm pretty sure it would suit your style perfectly :) .
