When I looked at this scan, the first thought I had was that it was extremely cute, but the second was that it was rather wierdly symmetrical. So I got the notion that one was a slightly altered mirror image of the other, and so the idea of putting lots of other mirrors up to get a kaleidoscope effect came to me.
Well, it's different at least. Hope y'all like it.
