This wallpaper features Ichiga from Uta Kata. Well...this is my first time doing a beach scene, It looks a little funny though, took almost the whole to do this wallie because I simply did not know how to do this and do that. I had to keep going to google to find tutorials on how to do them. Overall, this is the very first wallpaper that made me learn so much.
Before i forget, please comment. I would like to know how I did.
EDIT: haha. I redid the wallies already, burnt them. At least they look much better now. I think.

Sometimes it does take a while to do a wallpaper because of learning the tricks and all--I hear ya!
i really do like the beach background. Nice job! ^_^
i think though you should use either a shadow effect or the burn tool where the water meets the sky. This will make it
look as if it is going into the distance and not like going directly into the sky. Other than that, it looks wonderful
=)
The background needs some definition. LIke the above person says there needs to be a clear and distinct horison as well as a larger shore line. Also try using diferent shades of blue.
