Well... dunno what to say about this. I was in a very odd mood when I did this wallie, so it turned out odd. I wanted to do something abstract, but I guess I'm not that good at it yet. Anyway, I spent about 4 hours doing those little orbs, and hopefully they don't look too bad. I found the scans here in Minitokyo and I just thought they were so sexy, I couldn't resist! XD

Ahh!!! I'm such a sucker for abstracts, this is my thing...
I'd like to point out first that I have enjoyed your idea, it's really refreshing but there is some room for improvement.
First the main BG (the one with the pruplish scheme) some parts show a bit of pixelation, so I suggest you do a gaussian blur on that layer... nothing to heavy though, perhaps with a 1 or less ratio should do the trick..
Second, the scans... there is this glow? around them, it feels a bit odd. Is it a stroke or an outer glow? I think you should do an outer glow and lower the oppacity, also try with a softer color. Also the girl in pink looks a bit rough perhaps if you duplicate the layer an add a median filter and change it to overlay may improve the look.
On the other hand there are these orbs you have made, they are amazing as well as the abstractness you have put inside them, it has a nice sense of depth. I also like the simetrical intention of this hole piece... good work!!! -
