I love the song by Tokyo Jihen (written by someone else I believe), 'The Lady Is A Tramp'. It is just amazing, you should go check it out sometime. Of course, this wallpaper took about a week. The curtains were just me trying to be original, and I thought it was a nice touch to the wallpaper. The scan and art seemed to fit perfectly, also.

The shading and gentle textures are brilliant. So refreshing and elegent ~ really nice work ^.^

Very very cool, Brom brom. I'm glad you ended up placing the texture on the curtains; they look like curtains! XD And the background wallpaper turned out better than I thought it would... still a little: @_@ *gets dizzy*. XD But cool... unique! I think you're actually beginning to fall off that cliff. XP I'm glad the saturation is low, too, as that song kinda makes it feel like an old tv show.

you did wonders with the scan. especially when it's eating up about 3/4 of the wallpaper you've managed to modify it and give a whole new 'feel'. love the almost monotones and the curtains were a nice touch. great job indeed

i think you've done pretty well here. even by looking at the thumbnail, it looked quite attractive.
although it's just mostly black and white, it still is really good.

Wow... O_O Amazing! I've a collection of xxxHolic scans but often thought that it'd be hard to make anything half original from those scans because they're so decorative and pretty on their own, but really, fabulous job with this scan and making it your own. The patterns are kind of overwhelming, so the curtains are a nice touch (and perfect for my desktop icons.) Like everyone else said, the monotone looks good, and I love the touches of color. Mokona looks adorable (hehe). Sweet job!

As good as this art is the thing really stands out to me is the flower pattern, it looks great and seems to pull you in. Love the addition of the curtains, makes the character seem all the more seductive and the texturing was a nice way to finish this off. Cool stuff :)

There was really no point in that particular point of color. It doesn't even add much in the way of purely aesthetic value to it, so why go to the trouble?
The "curtains"--or whatever it is that those are supposed to be--are the biggest problem. They don't really match the rest of the piece aesthetically very well.
Still, not as bland as your pure grunge pieces. Decent.

Interesting! I stumbled on this looking for "mature content" lol...
I like the text. Good job with the filling in the star things, and I like how the Mokona's are colored in, they sort of get some attention that way (seems like the Mokona's get ignored a lot, especially the black one). But I'm not sure about the (I guess it's a curtain?) curtain on the left, it looks more like overlapping paper towels than a curtain. Maybe some lighten/darken smackdown might help it a little.
LOL, I wouldn't dare to call a lady a tramp that can cut my computer in half with a baseball bat! Nope, not me!
