Wow, a really touching wall, an excellent balance of the foreground and background... left to right balance, and uncomplicated enough to make me award it one of my favorite Kenshin walls ever!... in fact, i think it IS my fav... wow.. excellent work
Artist Comment
This was one of the biggest projects I've ever done, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results and feedback I've recieved. Originally I was designing a theme for Anime-Planet.com and found no really good Kenshin OVA shots, and we all know the OVA is amazing. So I raided the internet until I found this image (http://www.theburningcrow.net/images/kenoriginal.jpg) which I liked, but decided it would work for a modification. So after far too much time, the theme was finished. I had taken screen captures for the background, and then crafted the blood and sword setup. Enough people liked it (rave reviews) that I turned it into a wallpaper. So I hope you all enjoy it.

I really like this wall- I downloaded a slightly different version of this wall some time ago- It is really dramatically coloured, with nice contrast. Great parchment effect to the BG picture. Thanks for sharing.

I was convinced by a friend of mine to point out how much work I did on this in order to make it look like it was a scan... here is the actual image I used for kenshin...
It was one of the most fun projects I've ever done! ^__^

you wouldn't happen to have this wallpaper in 1024 x 768 would you? I absolutely love it, btw. You captured everything that was beautiful in the oav in this, its not cluttered and it doesnt have anything uselessly flashy in it. kudos.
