Very nice! The two distant worlds beyond the gate. Great concept and beautiful wall!
I do not want to nit pick, but the perspective of the gateway is a bit of. Also its symmetry. An dthe green flagstones doesn't *quite* fit in with the ground / floor. The color schemes is reall nice, bit it doesn't quite hide, as you said, that you were somewaht impatiant.
But thats minor detail. Wall is still looking great!

I really like your idea with this wallpaper. However, and I realize you said that you don't like making the backgrounds, it does need some work. The bricks and ground really look off when compared to the characters. The bricks are either really large or out of perspective. I do like your concept of the soul being mirrored in the archway. Nice idea, keep up the good work!

looks good, and i like the concept. however the colors clash a lot... mainly the floor. the burnt look and archway are a great idea and i see the arch as 'the gate' in a way.
