You still do need a lot of improvement with perspective in wallpapers..
especially with the strips on the floor..you also need to extremely improve with the texture as well..since it is chunky and glomped looking..it should look even..light and spread..try some filters to get that even feeling. Also try spending more then just a day..on a wallpaper..try spending a few days..a few hours here and there..then it'll come out great..because each day..you receive a new perspective..and it improves..if you just zoom and finish something in one day..your perspective makes it seem good..but then in acouple of days bad..ya knwo?

i think since that OA wall hit the top favs all the ppl is giving a look to the Kino no Tabi category.

Back to the wall,i love the background, nice amount of details, except for the "bridge" i think it needs more depth, also the scan is a bit grainy.

Is a good wall, the background is simple but nice, the mountains and clouds look great, they look more like another scan that something that you made out of scratch. Very nice

I realy like the wind and clouds , it adds to the hole wall. and the brown sky is my style.
    nice job.

Again, another cool wallpaper. The railings appear a bit stiff but other than that, another nice work we have here. Thanks.

the bg is just a bit cliched.. but nonetheless it's a great bg..^^ Like the clouds and the mountains. But I think the perspective is a bit wrong. The railing seems to be too far away.. nyaa.. anyway, nice job^^

wow... the bg is really good...i really like the clouds and the mountains...they looks so real!!! i really like it!!!

    promise to submit more please!!!!

the bridge looks kinda too 2-D....urm..do i have a right to talk..? o.o well whatever. pretty wally i like the clouds! ^-^ nya! :3

you made a wonderful wallie here...and i luv the concept of the chara standing on a windy bridge! but somehow the texture of the scan doesn't quite match the background because it looks a bit "rough" but the background is smooth looking. and the perspective of the bridge seems to need a bit of tweaking. i also luv the color of your sky because it's different and not the usual look. :D

mimo!!! very awesome wallpaper ^_^... "adds to fav's " see ya around >.< !!!

    ps. i love the text.

Wow... awesome wallie of Kino! I really like this anime (although I never watch it), but I really like Kino though. (She's a girl...) The bridge is great, but perspective isn't that good, try learning more new perspectice techniques coz I'm sure you can improve by then. ^^ The wind + clouds are fantastic! Really gives me that chinese paintings feel, hehhe. The moutain is good too. Not to mention the sunset sky. But about Kino scan... maybe you can at least darken her by using the brightness/contrast adjustments and clean her a little?

Well, overall, a very awesome wall. Just need a little more work on perspective views and character cleaning.

Again another great wallpaper, although your perspective part needs a bit of imprvement. have u used the distort and perspective tool in photoshop??? they should help u a bit ^^ those tools will help u get the flooring right . and i also thing you should have her standing on the edge of a cliff, ya know. Just because the way your drew the wind blowing on her face ^_^

    other than that great work.
    geee first useful comment on this forum ^^;

Great wallie Mimo. =)) You are my Sensei!!! You must teach me your ways. (lol) ^-^ I like the background it's very cool.

  13. limaho Aug 17, 2005

yep u're work is great , but I think the scan doesn't really match the clean BG yeah but it is still great ... ^^

I find myself wishing you hadn't added that wood platform at all, but just stuck with the desert background. THe wood is too dark and contrasting.
