Finally finished it.
In this wallpaper I tried not to make the characters so important, but rather the background to be the most important. For resources I used a couple of screenshots from the series and made them into some healthy looking vectors, so I used no brushes, no scans and so on. All You see is vector and was not easy to make. Also included my signature sun XD.
I used the whole gang in this one cause I couldn't decide who to use, I think together is better. They are all really cool characters and I don't have a favorite but females do come first for me XD, but still I think that if they all are on the wallpaper it's much better.
Comments and criticism always welcome.

This is a edit to explain that they are not walking in a row, but jin is a bit behind fuu and mugen a bit behind jin. Atleast that was the original idea.

Wow this is something new, All i can say is that the design work is almost summer/ surflike in style and the characters stand out well but i sould have like to seee more layers of drak and lighter grass cos the layer in the front looks plain to me but a great job on it nonetheless man! XD
p.s. You should work for a surfing design company and clothing... ^_^'
very interesting wallie you made there, kinda odd too, but its different from other walls. i agree with Oracle about the grass, but other than that, i don't see anything wrong. i suppose the background is suppose to be like that? ^_^' anyways, good work! it's nice to see something different +_+

I'm really liking this wall but a few things are keeping it from perfection in my book. Like OracleAngel said, I would like to have more layers of grass. I know you're trying to keep it simple but a 1/4th of it is just that plain grass color. Also the characters seem to walking a little too close for comfort, know what i mean? In the show they would all be like 15ft apart. B++ right now.
Wow.... it's rare that I see Samurai Champloo walls, its good that you make one and it's a really nice looking wall..... I agree with Kevlar, they seem to be walking close together especially Jin and Mugen. or maybe they just get into trouble (again) and was tied together on their waists. ;) +fav

Well, it's definitely original, which is a good thing. I like it! Definitely adding it to my favorites. To me it somehow has an 'aura' of silliness and happiness to it. I guess because of the facial expressions of the characters and how they're all mini-sized. Cute!
Nice, nice, nice. Nice vector and patterns. Like the tilt. Wouldnt mind if you could see abit more of the characters, but you've already stated you wanted the focus to be on the background. Still a exelent wall though.

part is the textured sky, very nice touch.
This is extremely cool. 1. I love the anime 2. I love this layout. It's a completely new perspective--at an angle. The way each character has his/her own color thing going on is very cool also. The texture of the sky is amazing.

Aww, so cute! The grass is pretty simple, and if you were trying not to make the characters so important, more detail could be added elsewhere, but that's only my opinion.
