I got the original image scan from anime project alliance. The image is pretty grainy so i had to touch it up quite a bit before using it (was only partly successful). The background is again a fractal made in ultra fractal 3. In this case using several layers in the fractal itself and then treated with another layer in photoshop to make it look more hazy and staggered. The leaves are duplicated and distorted from the few that are actually in the section of the image i used and then scattered about the picture. The thumbnail would make you think i had to really blur the character up to hide the poor scan quality...but actually i only slightly blurred it to keep the dreamy effect of the whole image.

I really like the ambience of the whole picture. The glow on the dress, the water in the background and the raven tops it all off with pull towards elegance. The highlights are the whole thing that pulls it off.
