Akari is such a wonderful character, but unfortunately one that doesn't show up until volume 22!
(Grrraaaarrrgghh...!)
The orchids took me the longest to do, both in the initial drawing and later CG -ing, but I love orchids and
they're the flower best suited to Akari. (*^.^*)
I'm also inappropriately enamored of my lantern... ("Akari" meaning "Lantern" in Japanese,
ergo... I think you get the idea!)
Just so this doujin won't be construed as a spoiler, I won't say anything more. (*~.^*)
Update: (30 July) I wanted to smooth out the petals a bit and enhance the glow on Akari. Also, I thought my original stars were garish...

Wwoowo~ You're such an amazing artist. It's really cool how you're not trying to depend on the lines. It kind of reminds of Fantasia's artwork. The orchids were done beautifully and matches her outfit quite elegantly. Her pose is really pretty and like how you setted it up. This is really quite beautiful. Really awesome work!

Wonderful job! Hmm... I think Akari is a girl, right? I almost thought she was the one... the one with Sasuke? But then, it's not. ^^ I love the concept by putting Akari and the image and emaning of her name together. Plus, the moon and orchid are just simply fantastic.

Now i really love this one... especially the flowers and the lantern, they look amazing, and the cg-ing is awesome... nice bg too, and of course, Akari is very well done, it goes without saying that i love the clothes ^^ loll, I'll finally be able to see in the books Akari in about 2 months, can't wait ^^ great job on that pic + fave
