You succeeded with the soothingness... blue helps! lol Simplicity too, though it's anything but simplistic - too detailed. That offsets the simple composure of the piece very nicely. It's a pretty wall like everybody else has already said. You appear to have an eye for (how to abuse) balance... congrats.
