This is my first time doing a kinda 3d wall and it seems I am not the greatest at it but you tell me. Anyway, I made this wall for my friend who is going to college and I know this is exactly what she is going to do. She will get in her dorm room and get on her computer rather than do the many things like setting up furniture, setting up the bookshelf, and much more. I know we all feel like that when we move in. ;)

I've never truly seen you make a scenic wall like this. @.@ I'm half asleep..anyways..
I do feel that the texture seems out of place..and makes the background seem odd and very very strange. I feel that there should be smoother...and less..clumped together texture..like some big grunge brushes..etc.
Very nice though, but try adding a bit of shaddow from the scan of the girll and the books and a light coming into the room from the window^.^

aua, you should put somethihng on the flor because they are too empty and they don't realy have any space, you should make them look liek they are made of wood because they look like a stone wall and the books that are there don't fit, and they don't look like books that much, the window looks more like a painting then anything else because the frame doesn't have a 3d look, some shadows on it are missing.
well actualy the whole room is too empty and i realy wouldn't like to be in it because it gives the feeling like there would only be 4 walls and nothing else and there isn't any light and when we talk about light there aren't any shadows there either. -

the books look so weird.. X__X cuz they look like as if they are melting.. and you should add some shading, cuz there is a window and things are standing on the floor.. the textures on the wall seem to be right and they look pretty nice.. okay, the girls just moved in and so the room is empty.. but where are the cartons where her things are.. ^_^'

I like the idea. I like the idea that you want to keep looking empty but I think rearranging the things that are already in your wall can create a less empty look. Also, you should add smoe shadows since the window does give off a light source. The books are cute and have a nice abstract look and so does the plant in the corner. Really matches the scan. I think the window is out of place in this environment. But this is a really cool concept. Really good work!

wow she really had just moved in she has nothin at all.
i like the simplicity of the wall but ther overall blur is offputting thou. The extraction is a bit off in some parts specially around the hair and the books look out of place with the looks of a 5 min colour job :( The tree would have had a better effect if it wasnt so blurred too. Oh and since there is a window right near here there would have been a shadow around her from the light that would be streaming through the window.
Still its a very good effort and the idea behind is was brillant well done :D

it's very nice- for your first 3 dimensional wall...it must've been a challenge- but i think it came out nice... I'm going away to college soon too- and I'll probably just be sitting at my computer all day just like i do at home haha..maybe with this as my wallie hehe..i hope I at least have a bed in my dorm though ;p kyu kyu kyu just teasin'- nice work

Yeah Yuunachan pretty much voiced what I saw could've used more work. Looks like you extracted some stock images and heavily filtered them, which doesn't quite look right :|
The girl's extraction is also pretty rough. As for the 3d elements to this, you need to work on your angles and shadows in order to create the right look. Might help to look at some reference images for help in that area :) -
