Though this was possibly almost or over a year ago, I'll give my input. The background was made by the simple use of the lens flare and the chrome filters (obvious to tell because I used this combination before to design a background of some sort). The scan could definitely use more work because first, the outline of the scan is pretty rough, and second, I see some jagged lines with your extraction. While the text takes up plenty of room on the bottom with the scan, the top lacks a foreground of some sort. However, the colors are in correspondance with each other. Keep up the work.

You're almost right, I used Lensflares and the Plastic Wrap filter with a few tweaks using blending options, color corrections and so on.. And I know about the Extraction problems, but as i've said, this wallpaper is year old, and I've still yet to get extraction down perfectly (Although I am close, it varies image to image), and the quality of the image I used wasn't very forgiving either, but I did the best I could with the tools I had.

Thank you for your indepth comment.

Sorry but the BG isn't orginal it looks like something you get off a Tutorial site. Not that Im saying its not a good design but I would of used alot of different things to help it blend in alittle bit more.
