it seems like you put a lot of effort into this so I give you much credit, but the only thing I see is that the floor is very simple, so much that it looks sort of crapppy, if you went through all the trouble of vectoring and air-brushing so much you should've spent an extra 5 minutes rendering a floor or brushing one rather than taking the easy way out, still a +fav for me though.

Ya...this was ORIGINALLY just going to be a vector trace. Nice and simple to be used as clip art.
But then i got carried away and decided to do a finished composition.
Ishida is completely adobe illustrator.
the background smoke is completely photoshop + the wacom.

the floor is actually a concrete texture. i guess its too "patterny"
lets do something about that...

i actually think that this is very well done. i think the floor is okay, but the shadow... it looks like ishida's in a puddle. o_O maybe you should lower the opacity of the shadow and darken it a teeny weeny bit so that the concrete texture shows up more and it looks more like a shadow. i think that's it. i have to say the smoke is great and so is the blue flame(? can't really remember the names of his weapons...) good job! [+fav]
