So anyway, I've wanted to do an exclusively mecha wallpaper for a while, and this one really caught my interest: the battle between Kira and Shinn ^^ So I went for a dark battle in the sky kind of look, with their immediate area lit by the weapons and sparks and what not. Pretend! XD I re-created the lighting effects in the original scan too :o

Wonderful wallie, nat! I've never watched Gundam Seed Destiny, but I do watch Gundam Seed. So I think the Gundams are great! Wonderfully done, and the dark clouds really gives that melancholy feeling to this wallie. Great job!

Awesome!!! Even if it reminds me painfully of Kira's defeat, but its still a great piece of work.

Nice. I've been looking for something like this for a while. Now there's just one more I'm looking for Gundam-wise. If you're seen the Seed Destiny intro, you'll note one partivular frame where you see Freedom, darkened form, wings spread, eyes and wings glowing. I hope that one's possible to be made into a wall. Haven't fount it anywhere yet.
Anyone up for the challenge? -

I haven't seen Gundam Seed before but this is by far one of the best wallpapers submitted under this category, and it's refreshing to see a mech wallpaper make it into the top submissions. ;) Excellent work XD

Wow..an awesome wallpaper. Freedom vs Impulse. that damn Shinn bastard destroyed my favorite Freedom by cheating. :( meh...Next battle is gonna be Strike Freedom vs Destiny. i can't wait to see Kira owning Shinn + Rey. i heard Kira takes on Destiny and Legend by himself. can't wait to see the phase 42 and 43. XD

WOW! Awesome wallpaper. Clash between Freedom and Impulse, pretty cool. Too bad the original Freedom got destroyed, even though I haven't watched the destiny series yet. But the new Strike Freedom really kicks butt. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work. This one gets the two-thumbs up and will be in my FAV's! :D
